Srinagar 19 July (KNB): Jammu and Kashmir Awami Ittehad Party (AIP) has extended heartedly greetings to the people of J&K on the auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Zuha.
In a felicitation message, Party Spokesperson Firdous Baba while extending his greetings said that the day of Zuha is a moment wherein we remember great sacrifices of Hazrate Ibrahim (AS) and the blessings bestowed on us. “People must make efforts to share their joys with the poor and weaker sections in our society,” Baba said
He further added “The spirit of Eid is that we must give up selfishness and take care of the unprivileged section of the society. The teaching of such festivals must last long in our lives,”
Party General Secretary Prince Parvez urged UT to provide an uninterrupted electric and water supply during the Eid festival and have a proper control over the prices of essential commodities in the market.
He also appealed to people to follow the proper SOPs as directed by the government, as covid is fully controlled. (KNB)
