Kathua 1 July (KNB): In a road mishap in Kathua district of Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday, two passengers died and seven others sustained injuries.
Officials said that 9 passengers were on board of vehicle, which collided with the highway divider at Logate Morh area of the district.
The collision left two people seriously injured, among which one was declared dead on arrival by doctors at a hospital, where as the other scummed to his injuries, officials said, adding that seven other were treated for their injuries at GMC Kathua, where from, 4 among them were shifted to GMC Jammu for further treatment.
Officials identified the two persons killed in the accident as Idresh Sharif and Shaad Mohammad, both belonging to Uttar Pradesh state of India.
Moreover, Police has taken cognisance of the incident. (KNB)
