Govt Orders Constitution of Two-Member Fact Finding Committee

Srinagar 19 October (KNB): Govt of Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday ordered for the constitution of a Fact Finding Committee of two members headed by chairman to look into facts and circumstances behind change of construction work of flats from 1BHK to 2BHK for transit accommodation of Kashmiri Migrants at Vessu, District Kulgam and Sheikhpora, District Budgam. 

The order copy lying with KNB reads that in supersession of the Government Order No. 862-JK(GAD) of 2021 dated 08.09.2021, sanction is hereby accorded to the constitution of a Fact Finding Committee, comprising the following, to look into the facts and circumstances behind change of construction work of flats from 1BHK to 2BHK for transit accommodation of Kashmiri Migrants at Vessu, District Kulgam and Sheikhpora, District Budgam.

The Fact Finding Committee would have the Financial Commissioner (Additional Chief Secretary), Finance Department as its Chairman.

It further said that the Administrative Secretary, Department of Disaster Management, Relief, Rehabilitation & Reconstruction and Director Finance, Department of Disaster Management, Relief, Rehabilitation And Reconstruction would be the committee’s two members. (KNB)
