Srinagar 20 October (KNB): Encounter started between militants and security forces on Wednesday morning in South Kashmir Shopian’s Dragad area, said Police.
The encounter started after a cordon and search operation was carried out in the area of Shopian’s Dragad by a joint team of Police, CRPF and Army following the inputs about the presence of militants there.
However, there are no reports about any casualties inflicted on either side engaged in the gunfight.
The encounter comes after the one fought between militants and security forces in Pampore area in which two ultras were killed. (KNB)
