Sopore, April 21(KNB): In a heart-wrenching incident in the Tarzoo locality of Sopore, a girl lost her life, and a woman sustained injuries when a fire ravaged their home on Sunday.
Officials reported to Kashmir News Bureau (KNB) that the blaze swiftly consumed the residence. Emergency services responded promptly, dispatching fire tenders to combat the inferno.
Tragically, the flames claimed the life of a young girl, identified as Riddah Tanveer, daughter of Tanveer Ahmed Lone from Wanigam Pattan. Rafeeqa Begum another occupant, was reported injured in the calamity.
Initial reports by authorities point to a gas leak as the probable cause of the disaster. (KNB)
