Govt Aims to Launch Massive Youth Engagement and Outreach Programmes says Syed Abid Rasheed Shah

Srinagar 31 October (KNB): Idea behind the Youth Engagement and outreach workshop is to create institutional mechanism to empower & groom our youngsters & to make them valuable for J&K & the Country, Lt Governor Manoj Sinha said.
Jammu and Kashmir Government is aiming at launching massive Youth Engagement and Outreach programmes which would address the burning issues of the young population, CEO Youth Mission Dr Sayed Abid Rasheed shah said.
In a workshop ‘Youth Engagement and Outreach in J&K’ organised by the Government of Jammu and Kashmir at SKICC Srinagar, Rasheed said, “Government is working to project the local heroes as ambassadors”.
The Workshop at SKICC began under the chairmanship of Lt Governor, Manoj Sinha. Senior corporate heads and policy analysts of the country were also present.
“My idea of Institutional Mechanism under Mission Youth is to ensure that we have a concrete framework & a definite time-line to execute it on the fertile ground that we have prepared for you,” Sinha said.
Lt Governor urged the national-level investors and industry experts to help Jammu and Kashmir Government in creating robust infrastructure and employment avenues for the youth of the UT.
Government to create a one-stop center where all the issues of youth are addressed, be it their education, their scholarships, their jobs, their skills or their entrepreneurship or self-employment, said Chief Secretary, BVR Subrahmanyam. (KNB)
