Srinagar, March 27(KNB): Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) national general secretary Ram Madhav today said that only BJP wants peace and development in the valley and will form a stable government in the state.
Addressing a press conference at Lalit, Madhav said “The parliament elections are going to be held in the state soon and we have three candidates in valley, while we have also demanded election commission to hold Assembly elections at the earliest. We want peace and development in valley and will tackle terrorism with zero tolerance.”
Lashing out at two main Regional parties National Conference (NC) and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) he said “Both the Parties, whether it is Mehbooba Mufti or Farooq Abdullah are happily contesting in Parliament elections while earlier in Municipal elections they were on boycott because of Article 370 and 35(A), they don’t care about general public and are participating for their self interest.”
Pertinently, Madhav said that their demand is to ban Akbar Lone and his party’s stand on Article 370 and 35(A) will continue to remain same.
He further said “we don’t believe in dynastic politics and have selected only those candidates who have been working for the people. I am appealing people of Kashmir to support us and our three main candidates and give us a chance to bring peace and development in the state.”(KNB)
