Budgam Youth Appeals for justice, CAPD department approved the license but later removed from list

Srinagar 15 March (KNB): A discrepancy and divergence of the department of food, civil supplies and consumer affairs Kashmir has come to fore during the establishment of the new fair price shops in Budgam District.
The government of Jammu and Kashmir department of food civil supplies and consumer affairs issued the order for establishment of new fair price shops in Budgam district through order no FCA&CA/FPS/134/2017 dated 25/09/2017 approving the license in favor of the applicant Javid Ahmad Dar resident of the Karipora area of Budgam district under serial number 57 among the total number of the 161 candidates but due to nepotism and favoritism the license was issued in favor of other person residing three kilometers away from Karipora.
Talking to Kashmir News Bureau Javid Ahmad Dar said, “After approval of the license in my favor, the concerned department kept delaying to one and another pretext and after 6 months I was informed that the said license was wrongly issued to other person.
He added that the said person’s family was already issued three fair price shop license and one kerosene license , besides the said person is not a state subject holder of karipora village .
He further added that I brought all the documents and proof to director of food kashmir as he assured me to bring the proof that the said person was already running the multiple shops but I am yet to get the justice due to nepotism .
Talking to Kashmir News Bureau the Director of Food Kashmir Mohd Qasim Wani said “ it is a judiciary case as court has issued a stay order on application of other party and court will decide on this issue .
He further added that the license was sanctioned by the secretariat by name and location”. (KNB)
