Villagers decry dilapidated road condition in Pulwama

Pulwama 11 June (KNB):The residents of Pazgam Villiage in South Kashmir’s Pulwam district expressed strong resentment against administration for failing to repair and macadamize their road even after approaching the concerned authorities several times.

The commuters face a lot of inconvenience due to the pathetic condition of the road connecting from JK bank Panzam to railway station Panzam.

“We are facing immense hardships due to the dilapidated condition of the road, the dilapidated condition of our road has exposed the tall claims of development by LG government.” a local told Kashmir News Bureau

“There is bad condition of road from JK Bank Panzgam to Railway Station Panzgam (1.5km) only which is creating a lot of trouble & inconvenience for passenger, private vehicles”. another local said

“We are requesting DC Pulwama to intervene in this matter & direct the concerned Authorities to repair/Macadamize this road at an earliest to mitigate inconvenience caused” he added

The residents urged Deputy Commissioner Pulwama and concerned departments to look into the matter and solve their problem in a time-bound manner.
