Kupwara 15 December (KNB): Two youths have been arrested by the Jammu and Kashmir Police on Tuesday, claiming to have been in possession with petrol bottle during the District Development Council (DDC) election rally in Kupwara.
As per reports to Kashmir News Bureau (KNB), People Alliance for Gupkar Declaration (PAGD) candidate, Tariq Manjoon Mir, was conducting a rally in Kupwara when two youths allegedly in possession of petrol bottle were apprehended by the police.
The report also quotes SSP Kupwara Sriram Ambarikar saying: “Two local youth were seen carrying petrol bottle during a DDC election rally. As slogans were raised during the rally, these two youth were apprehended by Jammu and Kashmir police, and both the duo are arrested. The further questioning is on and other details will be given later”. (KNB)
