Srinagar, October 17 (KNB): Two terrorists were killed in an exchange of fire with security forces in the Jumagund area of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Saturday, officials said.
The gunfight erupted around 3:30 am in the Keran sector along the Line of Control (LoC) after troops detected suspicious movement in the area. The suspected individuals were challenged, leading to an exchange of fire, officials said.
Security forces continued the operation to search the area and ascertain whether any other individuals were present, officials said.
