Pulwama, Feb 18(KNB):Two militants were killed in an ongoing encounter in Pingleena area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Monday.
Earlier, Four soldiers including an officer of Major rank were killed in the initial stage of nocturnal encounter. A civilian Mushtaq Ahmad Bhat has also been killed in the exchange of gunfight.
The identities of slain militants is yet ascertained, while the bodies have been recovered along with many weapons.
Meanwhile, clashes erupted near the site of encounter.
Authorities suspended the mobile internet service in the area, while the internet speed has been reduced to 2g in Srinagar and other parts of valley.(KNB)
