Srinagar, 10 October (KNB):Police on Tuesday said that two local militants affiliated with Lashkar-i-Toiba (LeT), Morifat Maqbool and Jazim Farooq alias Abrar, were killed in a gunfight at Ashipora area in South Kashmir’s Shopian district.
“Killed #terrorists have been identified as Morifat Maqbool & Jazim Farooq @ Abrar of #terror outfit LeT. #Terrorist Abrar was involved in killing of Kashmiri Pandit late Sanjay Sharma: ADGP Kashmir,” Kashmir Zone Police said in a post on X while quoting ADGP Kashmir
The gunfight took place between millitants and government forces in the early hours of the day.-KNB
