Srinagar 05 February (KNB): Two militants of the LeT (TRF) outfit have been killed by Srinagar Police in an encounter in Srinagar’s Zakura area on Saturday.
As per police, the encounter started in the wee hours of the morning in the Zakura area of Srinagar outskirts. In the gunfight, police said that two militants of LeT (TRF) were killed.
Police quoted IGP Kashmir Vijay Kumar and said that one of the slain, Ikhlaq Hajam, was involved in the killing of Head Constable Ali Mohammad at Hassanpora Anantnag.
It was also said that besides incriminating material, two pistols were also recovered. (KNB)
