Srinagar 05 February (KNB): Two Army personnel were hit by a vehicle on Saturday morning at Fruit Mandi, Parimpora area of Srinagar outskirts, killing one among them.
As per officials, the two Army men were part of the Road Opening Party who were mowed down by a speedy truck at Parimpora area of Srinagar. Among the two personnel, one died and another got injured in the accident.
The deceased has been identified as Ct Sanjay Kumar 163/TA Belt no 12984287 while the injured one was identified as Ct Rafiq Ahmad 163/TA Belt no 12984394.
It was also said that the driver of the vehicle had fled from the spot, and the truck involved in the incident was left by its owner there. (KNB)
