Reasi 19 April(KNB): A devastating lightning strike in Reasi’s Chantu Gali area has resulted in two fatalities and one injury. The incident occurred on Saturday evening, April 19, around 8 PM.
- Victims:
- Abdul Rasheed (60), son of Kalu
- Shahnaz Begum (25), wife of Mukhtiyar Ahmed
- Injured:
- Gulzar Begum (55), wife of Abdul Rasheed
- Livestock Loss:
- Approximately 40 goats and sheep perished in the lightning strike
The incident happened during a sudden cloudburst and intense lightning in the area. Police have reached the site and initiated necessary formalities.(KNB)
