Anantnag 29 May (KNB): Two person died in suspected militant attack in Jablipora area of Bijbhera in South Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Saturday.
Officials said that militants opened fire upon two persons identified as Shahnawaz Bhat and Sanjeed Parray in Bijbehara, Anantnag.
The injured duo was rushed to the hospital where doctors declared the 19 years old Sanjeed brought dead and another was referred to SKIMS Srinagar for treatment, officials said, adding that the second injured 35 years old Shahnawaz Bhat also scummed to his injuries.
Officials further said that Jammu and Kashmir is vigorously investigating the incident.
Moreover, immediately after the attack the whole area was cordoned off and search to nab the attackers was initiated. (KNB)
