Srinagar 23 August (KNB): Two militant have been killed in central Kashmir Srinagar’s Aloochi Bagh area on Monday afternoon, said police.
Police said quoting IGP Kashmir that two militants have been killed by Jammu and Kashmir Police at Aloochi Bagh area, falling in the vicinity of Srinagar’s Batamaloo.
The two slain have been identified as Abbas Sheikh, a top commander of LeT/TRF, and another as Saqib Manzoor, said IGP-K Vijay Kumar as per police.
Following the shootout, IGP termed it a big success.
However, the encounter was a brief one, which did not last for long. (KNB)
