Srinagar 10 April (KNB): The continuing violence in the south and some parts of central Kashmir is being planned to control with the help of two devised ways, said Chinar Corps Lt Gen D P Pandey on Friday.
Pandey during the press conference said the two ways that will help curb the violence are — stopping the recruitment of militants, and another is the network of Over Ground Workers (OGWs) to do away with.
He further said that the network of OGWs is a cause behind the recruiting militants, and the medium of the recruitments and radicalization is social media and online media. “Our perseverance is to quash this network of OGW,” said Chinar Corps Lt Gen D P Pandey.
Lt Gen said that he is requesting people to help security forces and civil administration so that the cycle of recruitment could be stopped.
He also said that the peace and prosperity in the valley and Kashmir moving on the path of development and progress could be made possible by the people working in tandem with the security forces for stemming of the violence.
Pandey said it during the press conference, held after killing of seven militants in south Kashmir’s two encounters on Friday. (KNB)
