Srinagar 10 April (KNB): Encounter breaks out between militants and security forces on Saturday afternoon in South Kashmir Shopian’s Hadipora area.
According to Officials, the forces and police launched a cordon and search operation following the specific inputs about the presence of militants in the area.
The searches later turned into an encounter when the holed up militants fired upon the forces searching the area.
However, forces and police are currently retaliating the fires from the opposite end.
“Encounter has started at Hadipora area of Shopian. Police and security forces are on the job. Further details shall follow,” said police. (KNB)
