Temperature Below Freezing Point For Two Consecutive Nights, Srinagar Records -2 Degree C

Srinagar 08 February (KNB): Temperature in the summer capital of J&K plummeted again sub-zero on consecutive two nights of Saturday and Sunday, with -2 degree Celsius recorded last night and -3.6 degree Celsius on Saturday night in Srinagar. 

Following the rising of temperature to 0.6 and 1 degrees C of late, the mercury again settled under freezing point in Srinagar. However, the dip in temperature was also predicted by the Meteorological department some days ago. 

As per MeT, the sky will remain partly to generally cloudy with mainly dry weather on Monday falling in line with its already weather prediction. 

However, the temperature recorded in Pahalgam was -5.3 degree C, Qazigund -5.5 degree C, Kupwara – 2.7 degree C, Kokernag -4.3 degree C, Gulmarg -2.5 degree C and Leh -9.6 degree C. (KNB)
