Poonch 13 July (KNB): A tipper, driven by a teenage boy lost control and fell into a deep gorge in Kayuian area of Poonch district on Tuesday morning, resulting in the death of the driver and injuring another person on board of the vehicle.
Officials said that during early morning, the driver of a tipper, heading towards Mendhar, lost control of the vehicle at Kayuian area and skidded off the road, into a deep gorge.
After the accident, rescue team took to the spot and retrieved the body of the driver identified as 17 years old Mohabat Ali, who died on spot and another person on board of the vehicle, identified as 25 years old Ansar Ahmad, who had sustained injuries was taken to the district hospital for treatment, officials said.
A case has been registered in this regard and further investigation has been taken up, officials added. (KNB)
