Bandipora 22 October (KNB): Another shocking incident as 14-year-old boy allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself at a relative’s home in north Kashmir’s Bandipora district.
An official said that the teenager, a resident of Nowpora locality of Bandipora hanged himself at his maternal uncle’s home today.
His relatives rushed the boy to district hospital Bandipora, where doctors declared him dead on arrival, he said.
Official said that only after completing all legal formalities, body of the deceased will be handed over to his family members for last rites.
He stated that a case under relevant sections of law has been registered and further investigation has been taken up.
This is the second such incident in past three weeks as on 02 October a 12-year-old boy allegedly committed suicide by handing himself at home in Aloosa viallge of the same district. (KNB)
