Bandipora 27 December (KNB): A district level ‘Taekwondo Referee’ seminar was conducted at ASA Taekwondo Club of Sumbal Govt. Degree College Bandipora.
The statement issued to Kashmir News Bureau said that the seminar was approved by J&K Taekwondo Association and the aim of the event was to boost the technical staff of District Taekwondo Association Bandipore for the upcoming district ‘Taekwondo Championship’ which is going to be held during the first week of January at Indoor Sports Complex Bandipora.
The event attended by 20 participants from Bandipore District.
Mr Nisar Ahmad, SDPO Sumbal Bandipora was the chief guest for the event and congratulationed the referees and distributed qualification cerificates among the them.
He said that it is a great platform to boost the youth and get introduced to this sport, which is recognized at World Olympics.
He further thanked the district Taekwondo Association Bandipore for organising the seminar and urged district Taekwondo Association to organuse more events in future. (KNB)
