Srinagar, Mar 26 (KNB): Suspected militants on Monday unsuccessfully attempted to loot a Jammu and Kashmir Bank Branch in Kulgam, south Kashmir, a police spokesman said here.
“The militants appeared at the Bugam branch of J&K Bank in Kulgam and tried to loot the public money,” he added.
The alert security personnel present there foiled their attempt and the robbers fled away from the spot.
Manhunt has been launched to nab the perpetrators. (KNB)
