Militants attack army patrol in Shopian, south Kashmir

Srinagar, Mar 26 (KNB): The suspected militants on Monday attacked an army’s patrolling party in Kachdora village of south Kashmir’s Shopian district, an official said here, adding, there was no report of any causality in the incident.
As per the sources Kashmir News Bureau received here a group of suspected militants opened fire on the Army’s 34 RR in Kachdoora area of Shopian south of Kashmir.

The personnel retaliated to the fire thus creating a reign of terror in the area. There was no report of any casualty.

When contacted, SSP Shopian confirmed the incident and said that police is verifying the details, said the report.
Following the attack, searches were launched in the area to nab the attackers, the official added. (KNB)
