J&K 24 November (KNB): J&K Sports council today has entered into MoU with Suresh Raina Cricket Academy to develop budding cricketers of Jammu and Kashmir to higher levels.
Officials stated, “In another step to tap the immense sports potential & to realise vision of LG Manoj Sinha of making J&K a Centre of Sporting Excellence, J&K Sports council today entered into a MoU with Suresh Raina Cricket Academy to develop budding cricketers to National & International level.”
During the meeting, Lt Governor observed that the MoU will provide an opportunity to budding cricketers to hone their skills & to showcase their talent in various levels of national & international competitive tournaments.
The initiative will complement the efforts of the J&K govt, which has already created state-of-the-art sporting facilities across the UT & is continuously adding world-class amenities to build superior talent pool, officials said.
Suresh Raina would be a dream mentor for young talents from J&K who are working hard to get into the big leagues and will be immensely benefitted by this collaboration, Lt Governor said. (KNB)
