Srinagar 24 November (KNB): Peoples Democratic Party leader Yasir Reshi has refuted the reports of being questioned in connection with Davinder Singh, after being summoned by NIA today.
Reacting over the reports about NIA questioning Yasir Reshi related to officer Davinder Singh, he said, “I was summoned and made to wait for hours together but was not questioned,” adding that it is only a pressure tactic.
He further said, “I faced a lot of humiliation and was made to wait at police station for hours together. Its all politics and nothing else but just to cow down those who don’t believe in a particular ideology and come to terms to those who are ruling the roost.”
Pertinently, the suspended Jammu and Kashmir DSP Davinder Singh was arrested while ferrying two Hizb-ul-Mujahideen militants in a vehicle, on the Srinagar-Jammu Highway earlier this year. (KNB)
