Srinagar 5 April (KNB): SSP Srinagar, Sandeep Chaudhary on Monday conducted a counselling session with the youth, suggesting them to concentrate on their studies, and their parents at Rainawari Srinagar.

Officials said that during the counselling session SP North and SDPO Khanyar were also present.

“SSP Srinagar urged the parents to guide their sons in proper manner to become law abiding citizens. He further added that the young boys have got a very long life ahead of them and they should not waste their opportunities of a better life by engaging in hooliganism and stone-pelting,” said an official announcement.

It further said that more than a dozen boys were counselled to concentrate on their studies to build their futures and ensure a better life for themselves and their parents.

However, the holding of counselling session comes days after when Srinagar police on March 27 had said that SSP Srinagar Sandeep Chaudhary would be available for hearing of public grievances throughout the week between 11:30 am to 1:00 pm except on Friday. (KNB)
