The summer capital of J&K last night froze at -2.3 degrees Celsius after recording -1.6 degrees Celsius on the previous night.

The tourist destination Pahalgam recorded -4.4 degrees Celsius last night which on the previous night was -3.4 degrees Celsius.

However, the cold condition in North Kashmir’s Gulmarg was relatively lower than in other places after the temperature was recorded at -0.6 degrees Celsius last night.

Pertinent to mention that the MeT official yesterday said that the cold and dry weather would be observed in J&K until November end, with light snowfall likely to occur over extreme North Kashmir on 25th of this month. (KNB)
