Srinagar 27 March(KNB): Senior Superintendent of Police Srinagar Rakesh Balwal on Sunday suspended Head constable Sarshad Ahmad Kare Khas and Special Police Officer (SPO) Ishfaq Ahmad for taking money from ticket owner of tulip garden.
Station House Officer Nishat, Raies Hassan Wani has been attached to DPL Srinagar ‘with immediate effects for further duties’, an official communique said.
While the order or SHO’s attachment is silent as to why the officer has been attached, sources told KNB that his Kar e Khas has ‘done the damage’.
“The SHO had to face the heat after his subordinates were caught,” an official claimed.
According to reports, an amount of 50 thousand was also recovered.(KNB)
