Bandipora Feb 23(KNB): Spontaneous shutdown is being observed in Bandipora township after reports of a local militants killing in Sopore encounter yesterday.
Reports said that the shutdown was observed after reports doing rounds said that one of the militant killed in the encounter is a local of Watapora village.
All shops and other business establishments are shut , while public transport is also off the roads.
However a senior police official said that there was no report of any local militants killing in the encounter.(KNB)
