Baramulla 18 April(KNB): Sopore Police on Monday arrested Drug Peddler and recovered recovered Psychotropic Substance from his possession, official said.
In a statement issued to news agency KNB, the police arrested a drug peddler namely Muhammad Lateef Parray S/O Ghulam Nabi Parray R/O Hib Dangerpora Sopore during his search 110 tablets of SPASMOPROXYVON Plus were recovered from his possession.
A naka was established at Chatloora crossing by a team of Police Post Watergam headed by DO Watergam under the supervision of SDPO Rafiabad and SHO Police Station Dangiwacha, official told KNB
In this regard Case FIR No. 42/2022 under section 8/22 of NDPS Act was registered at Police Station Dangiwacha and further investigation has been taken up, he said.
“Sopore Police always requests general public to cooperate and come forward with any information regarding drug peddlers and anti-social activity may be shared with Sopore Police,” statement added.(KNB)
