Srinagar 27 May(KNB): The Enforcement Wing of the Srinagar Municipal Corporation (SMC), under the directions of the Commissioner Owais Ahmad (IAS), conducted an enforcement drive during which an illegal structure was identified at Batmaloo and sealed.
In a statement issued to news agency Kashmir News Bureau-KNB that the action was taken in accordance with the provisions of municipal laws and regulations governing unauthorized constructions. Despite prior notices, the violator continued with the illegal construction, prompting immediate enforcement measures.
SMC reiterates its commitment to upholding urban planning norms and warns against any form of encroachment or unauthorized development. Citizens are requested to obtain proper permissions before undertaking any construction activities, statement added.(KNB)
