Srinagar 23 May(KNB): The Enforcement Wing of Srinagar Municipal Corporation (SMC), under the orders of Dr Owais the Commissioner, Srinagar Municipal Corporation, conducted a sealing operation at Karanagar Shutrashahi.
In a statement issued to news agency Kashmir News Bureau-KNB, SMC Spokesperson said that the action was taken against a structure found to be undergoing unauthorized conversion from residential to commercial use, in violation of municipal land use regulations. The sealing was executed to uphold compliance with the approved Master Plan and building norms.
The Srinagar Municipal Corporation remains committed to planned urban development and urges all citizens to strictly adhere to legal procedures and seek appropriate permissions for any land use changes, statement added.(KNB)
