Srinagar 22 Sep(KNB): Continuing with its action against violators, SMC conducted demolition at various places including ward 10 Hawal and Nawchee Bagh Barzulla.
The SMC officials have also stopped work of all those structures at a very initial stage which had deviations in sanctioned building plans and the structures coming up without permission.
The Enforcement wing is continuing to act on a number of illegal constructions including public complaints made against violators in the city.
Strict directions has been passed by Commissioner SMC Mr Gazanfar Ali to the concerned officials to act promptly in getting the illegal structures demolished on spot where ever found..
He further passed on directions to the field staff to monitor Building permissions regularly at constructional sites and check whether the structure is coming up as per sanctioned plan..
On finding deviations being done in building permission, the work needs to be immediately stopped
Citizens have been requested to apply for proper building permissions from Competent Authority and not to take law and order in their hands” said Mr Ali.
Meanwhile Secretary SMC Sofi Akbar said SMC shall be continuing with the demolition drives with regard to unauthorized construction and will ensure that no construction without permission is allowed to take place.(KNB)
