Srinagar, 27 December (KNB): Shergari Police Station in District Srinagar has been selected among the top three police stations nationwide for the year 2023. The prestigious acknowledgment comes from the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India.
The Inspector General of Police, Kashmir Zone, Srinagar, received communication (No.17/Police(L)/2023(3)-4059) on December 16, 2023, revealing that the Honorable Union Home Minister will personally present the trophy to the Station House Officer (SHO) of Shergari Police Station. The ceremony is scheduled to take place during the DGsP/IGsP Conference-2023 on January 5, 2024, at the Rajasthan International Centre in Jaipur.
The announcement, conveyed through a letter dated 4th December 2023 (No GH/M-39/2023/S501), has been forwarded by the Administrative Officer on behalf of the Director General of Police, J&K Jammu.
The SHO of Shergari Police Station is directed to attend the event and receive the prestigious trophy.-KNB
