Sex Racket Busted in Srinagar; Five Women Arrested

Srinagar 8 July (KNB): Jammu and Kashmir Police busted a sex racket in an area lying on the bypass road Batamaloo of central Kashmir’s Srinagar district and arrested Five women.

Talking to news agency Kashmir News Bureau, an official working on the case said that Five women involved in running the racket were arrested by J&K police and afterwards were handed over to Women’s Police Station Rambagh.

As per reliable sources, the sex racket was caught in Muslim’Abad (colony) yesterday.

Regarding the residence of the arrested women, the official said that accused has the right to privacy, even though we are ascertaining these details. He said that after culmination of the investigation further details will be revealed.

Moreover, the official said that an FIR number 107/ 2021 under section 3, 4, 5, 7 Immoral Traffic Prevention Act stands registered in Police Station Batamaloo and further investigation into the matter is going on. (KNB)
