Srinagar 27 July (KNB): At least five residential houses destroyed in an overnight fire in Srinagar Noorbagh’s Palpora area, said officials on Tuesday.
As per officials, the fire started in one of the houses in the area which later on spread across a few other adjacent houses, resulting in damage to the structures.
However, the fire was put out once the fire emergency personnel reached the spot of the incident. But, a few other structures were damaged with the one from which fire had erupted till the flames were doused off by the fire fighters.
The reason behind the fire was not immediately known after the incident took place, as per the officials.
It is pertinent to mention that there was no casualty reported in the fire incident. (KNB)
