Srinagar 21 April (KNB): The Pune based Serum Institute of India (SII) on Wednesday announced the prices of AstraZeneca vaccine, also known as Covishield, in India.
Following the Govt of India directives, we are announcing the prices of the Covishield vaccine -Rs 400 per dose for state governments and Rs 600 per dose for private hospitals, Serum Institute of India said.
Moreover, to control the surge of Covid-19 cases, the government on Monday announced that everyone above the age of 18 will be eligible to be administered the COVID-19 vaccine from May 1.
Today, as per the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW), the cumulative number of Covid-19 vaccine doses administered in the country has crossed 13 Cr as part of the world’s largest vaccination drive.(KNB)
