Srinagar 30 August (KNB): One militant has been killed in Jammu’s Poonch sector on Monday by security forces after a suspicious movement was observed along LoC in the area, as per PRO Defence.
The official said that the infiltration bid was foiled after the militant was killed along LoC in Poonch when he tried to sneak into this side.
The official said that one AK47 rifle was recovered from the possession of the slain militant after being fired upon by the alert forces.
After the shooting down of the militant by forces, the official said that the operation is still in progress in the area. (KNB)
