Srinagar 08 October (KNB):The Election Authority of J&K Peoples Conference announced the oath taking ceremony for president which will be held on Wednesday 16th November at Darul Jawad, Qamarwari.
PC Spokesperson said in a statement issued to news agency Kashmir News Bureau-KNB that “election authority met today to discuss the formalities related to the scheduled oath taking ceremony for the President of the party. The meeting was presided over by Chairman Syed Basharat Bukhari and attended by members Mansoor Hussain Soharwardy, Mohammad Ashraf Mir and Organising Secretary Adnan Mir.” Statement said
During the meeting the weather forecast for the scheduled date was found not to be promising which could result in inconvenience of the attending delegates/electoral college.statement added
Statement further said that “It was therefore decided that the proposed oath taking ceremony which was scheduled to be held on 10th November, 2022 is postponed and rescheduled for Wednesday 16th November, 2022 at 11:00 am at Darul Jawad, Qamarwari”.It said (KNB)
