Srinagar, Aug 16(KNB): The hearing in Article 370 case would resume on Wednesday with advocate Rajeev Dhavan set to argue on behalf of Peoples Conference, which has challenged August 5, 2019 decisions.
Sources in PC disclosed that the party president Sajad Gani Lone would be present in the Supreme Court today during hearing of the case.
Advocate Rajeev Dhavan, who is representing PC, would present his oral arguments in the SC against abrogation of Article 370 and reorganization of erstwhile state into two UTs.
This is the second time when Lone would be present in the SC during hearing of Article 370.
PDP president Mehbooba Mufti is also expected to be present in the Supreme Court today.
Interestingly, Mehbooba Mufti, whose party is not a petitioner in the case, had said on August 9, that she has not been to SC proceedings as she wouldn’t bear arguments in favour of illegal abrogation of Article 370. (KNB)
