Budgam, August 15(KNB): Saif Khan Baba, Convenor Kashmir Division of Muslim Rashtriya Manch, unfurled the Tricolour at Mazhar-ul-Haq Secondary School, Breewah, Budgam, as part of the Independence Day celebrations.
Addressing the students, Saif Khan Baba highlighted the significance of Independence Day and paid tribute to the freedom fighters and bravehearts whose sacrifices made the country’s freedom possible.

“Kashmir is the crown of India, and India is a country where people belonging to all religions live together. This diversity is our strength and something every Indian should be proud of,” he said.
He urged the students to understand the value of freedom and the responsibilities that come with being citizens of an independent nation.
“Independence is not only about celebrating a day; it is also about understanding our responsibilities towards our country. We must work together, respect one another and contribute towards building a stronger and better India,” Baba said.
He told the students that the youth have a crucial role in shaping the future of the country and encouraged them to focus on education, discipline, character-building and hard work.
“You are the future of our country. Make yourself strong, capable and confident so that the nation and the entire world come to know you through your achievements,” he said.
Baba also called upon the students to dream big and utilise their education and talent for the progress of society and the nation.
“Your education is your biggest strength. Whatever field you choose, work with dedication and honesty. The progress of India depends on the strength, knowledge and character of its young generation,” he added.
Extending Independence Day greetings to the students, teachers and all those present, Saif Khan Baba said that the occasion should inspire everyone to strengthen the spirit of unity, peace and brotherhood.
He also expressed gratitude to the school administration for inviting him to be part of the Independence Day celebrations and appreciated their efforts in organising the programme.(KNB)
