Baramulla 12 March (KNB): A robber on Friday ran away with the money after he entered the Grameen Bank branch in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
As per police, the incident happened around Friday prayer as most of the staff had been for the Friday prayers, and the robber entered into the bank, shooting fire in the air.
However, the robber later ran away with the money, which was said to be in lakhs.
Pertinently, the police have initiated an investigation into the case to apprehend the robber behind looting the money from the bank. Whereas the senior police official has expressed his suspicion on the robbery and confirmed that the matter will be probed. (KNB)
