Rehabilitate Baramulla Fire Victims on Priority: PC to Admin

Srinagar 11 June (KNB): Jammu and Kashmir People’s Conference has expressed grief and sorrow over the massive overnight blaze in Baramulla’s Noorbagh area, which rendered a number of families homeless.

People’s Conference in a statement issued here has sought for immediate relief for the fire victims, asking administration to prioritise their efforts in providing succour to the affected people.

Underscoring the need for the long term rehabilitation of those affected by the blaze, People’s Conference has urged the Administration to assess the damages caused to people’s livelihood and property due to the unfortunate incident and come up with a long term rehabilitation program for the fire victims.  

“We express solidarity with fire victims of Noorbagh, Baramulla. In this hour of grief we stand in unison with the affected families whose houses were gutted in this devastating fire. We urge the admin to assess the damages to property and  recompense the losses to affected families,” the spokesperson said. (KNB)
