Srinagar 18 February (KNB): Amid a Cordon and Search Operation, forces arrested a recently recruited militant in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
Officials said that upon recieving specific intel about the presence of militants in the area, a CASO was initiated by a team of police and Army’s 55 RR in Main Town Pulwama.
One youth identified as Vilyat Aziz Mir alias Rasik, son of Abdul Aziz Mir, resident of Banpora Kakpora was arrested, Officials said, adding that a pistol and a grenade was recovered from his possession.
The arrested person was missing since 15th of January and had joined the militant ranks, officials added. (KNB)
