Srinagar 2 August (KNB): Government of Jammu and Kashmir on Monday approved the constitution of committee for resolution of bottlenecks in the construction of re-aligned section of Ramban-Banihal National Highway-44.
As per the Government Order No.670JK(GAD) of 2021, the Committee comprises of Chief Secretary, J&K as the Chairperson and other 5 members, for reviewing the progress of projects on monthly basis and for taking timely decisions for the resolution of bottlenecks in the construction of re-aligned section of Ramban-Banihal NH-44.
The other Five members of the Committee are Principal Secretary to the Government, Revenue Department; Principal Secretary to the Government, PW(R&B) department; Commissioner/Secretary to the Government, Department of Mining; Commissioner/ Secretary to the Government, Department of Forest, Ecology & Environment and Divisional Commissioner, Jammu.
The order also stated that “The committee shall be serviced by the PW(R&B) Department.” (KNB)
