Srinagar 14 June (KNB): North Kashmir Sopore’s man who was jailed after being accused of committing rape, died due to Covid19.
The deceased, who was in a jail in North Kashmir Kupwara district on the rape charges, has been identified as Lateef Ahmad.
However, officials have said that the deceased was in isolation after coming positive for Covid19 and was declared negative after his another test.
Later, the man was shifted to a hospital where he died. (KNB)
