Qazigund 16 February (KNB): The body of a man, around 30 years old, was founded in a water channel in Qazigund on Tuesday morning which was detected by the locals there.
The dead body, identified as Hashim Din, was later handed over to his family after being recovered from the canal.
However, the police have also taken cognizance of the matter after reaching the spot of the incident.
It is pertinent to mention that a dead body of a mid-aged man was also found in Srinagar’s Bemina area yesterday, which was later handed over to his kin for last rites. (KNB)
